Cited Reference Searching: Home

Interested in seeing if an article has been cited in another article?  Need to find out what journals in a particular field are considered to have a high impact?  Interested in seeing the impact of a particular author?  Different tools provide access to this data using cited reference searching.

This guide has three main sections (see tabs along the top):

• Searching for Cited References provides tools for identifying which articles have cited an article of interest.
   
• Impact Reports provides tools for:
  •  measuring the importance of a journal in a particular field relative to other journals in the same field
  •  measuring an author's impact relative to other authors
