     This government department assists with incorporating businesses, not-for-profit organizations applying Canadian laws and regulation. Other services offered include collecting and disseminating information about federal companies, compliance and enforcement activities and client consultations.

      The Institute of Corporate Directors is a Canadian not-for-profit and member-based association. Its mission is to foster excellence in directors to strengthen the governance and performance of Canadian corporations and organizations. The association has a number of publications, reports and studies on corporations which are available to their members and sometimes available for purchase.

     The Conference Board of Canada is an independent not-for-profit research organization that creates and shares insights to economic trends. This organization makes the publication of its research available in numerous electronic and print publications.
