Academic Writing Guide: Reflective Writing

Reflective Writing

In reflective writing, students are asked to write down some of the thinking that they have been through while carrying out a particular practical activity, such as writing an essay, participating in a group project, or studying for an exam. Through reflection, students should be able to make sense of what they did and why, and perhaps help themselves to do it better next time.
