Bloomberg Market Concepts

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to the financial markets. BMC consists of 3 sections — Core Concepts (includes four modules – Economic Indicators, Currencies, Fixed Income, Equities), Getting Started on the Terminal and Portfolio Management. The sections are woven together from Bloomberg data, news, analytics and television. The course is available through the Bloomberg Terminal at BMC <GO>. The BMC training can be completed by students from one of the four physical Bloomberg terminals available at Bronfman Business Library.

To sign up for BMC training and start completing the modules, create a Bloomberg login for yourself.  Once logged into Bloomberg,  execute a BCER <GO> command and select to set up a Bloomberg Market Concepts account.  Once you have both accounts set up you can complete the BMC certificate at your own pace.
