Bonds Getting Started

There are a few ways of searching for a bond

  1. If you do not know the ticker just type the name of the company at the top left where blue cursor is and select from the auto generated list looking for CORP after the ticker.
  2. At the top left corner where the blue cursors blinks type SRCH and select the <GO> key to launch the Bond Search interface.  Then filter by adding criteria as illustrated below with the search for a bond with a specific credit rating.
  3. At the top left corner where the blue cursors blinks type SECF <GO> to launch the security finder search page. Select the grey FI (fixed income) tab and then filter by adding search criteria to the amber search field.

For example if you wanted AA ratings by S&P, you can enter 'credit rating' -> S&P (in the new field that pops up) -> 'equal to' -> and the specific grade you're looking for.
