Simultaneously search all business & industry periodicals available through Proquest Central, including the ABI/Inform databases, concentrated publications on the pharmaceutical, banking, computing and telecommunications industries and Canadian, Asian and European business news.

Provides a comprehensive listing of Canadian Associations and provides their contact information and web site details. Associations may provide additional industry statistical information, contacts for individuals and companies, as well as detailed information on the industry as a whole.

Includes Canadian, U.S. and global industry reports and a business environment database. Many of the industry reports are for smaller industries not included in other databases which the business library subscribes to.

Access First Research industry reports via Megent Intellect. First Research reports cover 500 industry profiles and 1000 industry segmentation profiles. Broad industry categories can be expanded for niche reports. The primary broad category of relevance is: Finance and Insurance. To access First Research reports scroll down and select the First Research link, then input your email address on the left side of the interface.

Provides country risk intelligence and forecast data. In addition to some company intelligence, this resource provides in-depth analysis and data on almost 25 industries with current and archived industry reports for countries all over the world, including Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Includes business intelligence on industries and consumers and has global coverage. Especially useful if you are interested in market research in the context of a specific industry. This database is especially strong on coverage of consumer goods and services industries.

Includes industry reports and market profiles for industries globally including Canada and the United States.

On entering the database, click on Industry Analysis, then Historical Industry Reports. 31 different industry sectors are available including coverage for North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Investext provides access to analyst reports for publicly-traded companies. The reports are produced by analysts from investment banks, brokerage houses, and consulting firms. Reports include analyses on company and industry financial performance, SWOTs, M&A, trends, challenges, and much more. Investext includes current and historical analyst reports. Quick search tips: (1) Search for a publicly-traded company’s most recent analyst reports using the Company Search field > On report landing page, click Reports tab > click Broker Research reports link; (2) To conduct more advanced searches such as historical reports, initiating coverage reports, or reports from specific investment banks, click on the Investext tab (far right-hand side tab) to go to the advanced search form.
