Omni Search: Finding Specific Articles/Books

Finding Articles

Omni is a great place to start if you have a citation, which includes the name of a book or article you need.

Finding a Known Book/eBook

Use the main search box and enter the exact title in quotation marks to use an exact phrase search (e.g. "The never ending present"). Click "Search". If you cannot find the title or too many items are found, try using Advanced Search.

York University Libraries has books in both print and electronic formats.  Notice that this book is available in both formats.  To open the online electronic version click on the link.  To pick up the book in print, note the call number and library where the book is located.
