You do not need to register to use Canadian Legislative Pulse, but you do need a User ID and Password. Follow these instructions to log in:
- Go to the eResources@Osgoode page and click on the letter C.
- Click on Canadian Legislative Pulse.
- Sign on with your Passport York account and agree to the Acceptable Use Guidelines for Electronic Resources.
- The next screen will provide you with Osgoode's User ID and Password.
- Follow the link to https://pulse.lexisnexis.ca/logon.aspx and enter Osgoode's User ID and Password in the boxes provided.
You can also sign up for email notification for new bills, affected legislation and for the weekly bill reports by creating a profile and registering. Please follow the instructions below or the instructions in this link:
Create your profile
- Under Manage profiles, select Create
- Complete the New Profile form
- Click Add. A message confirming your account update will appear
Access the application
- Use the drop-down arrow to the right of the Profile name box to locate your name
- Enter your personal Password in the box provided
- Click Submit
