Online and Other Services: Carilaw

The Carilaw collection is now available exclusively on vLexJustis, in partnership with the University of the West Indies. The database contains cases decided by the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ),  Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (PC) and the present day Supreme/High Courts and Courts of Appeal of the following islands:

3. The Bahamas 
4. Barbados 
5. Belize 
6. Bermuda 
7. British Virgin Islands
8. Cayman Islands 
9. Dominica 
10. Grenada 
11. Guyana
12. Jamaica

18. Turks and Caicos Islands

Additionally, the database provides Privy Council cases from Suriname and judgments of special courts, such as the Industrial Courts of Antigua and the Tax Appeal Board of Trinidad.

• To access cases from Carilaw, click the Advanced Search on the left side, then click on Select more jurisdictions
