Q: How long can I borrow books on Kortext?

A: The loan period for a book is 3 days (72 hours). Books cannot be renewed.

 

Q: Is there a waitlist/reserve list?

A: YES! If there are no additional copies available, users who want borrow the book will be prompted to join the reserve list. This option is only available if you have a Kortext account.

 

Q: Once I get notified that a copy of a book is available for me to borrow, how long to I have to activate the loan?

A: You have 24 hours to borrow the book before it becomes available for the next person on the waitlist. If you miss it, you will have to go back on the waitlist.
