What's in this guide

Welcome to the Osgoode Law Library's guide to e-books! This guide will provide a list of e-book platforms where you can find law-related e-books and guidance on how to access them.

What is an E-Book?

An e-book is an electronic version of a print book. There are several advantages to using e-books including remote 24/7 access, full-text searching, highlighting, magnification, annotating, etc. You will find a list of the major platforms where you can find e-books related to law below, including how to search for e-books in the Omni Library Catalogue. The e-books can be accessed remotely using your Passport York user ID and password.
