The Canadian Mathematical Society promotes the advancement, discovery, learning and application of mathematics in Canada.

The AMS, founded in 1888 to further the interests of mathematical research and scholarship, serves the national and international community through its publications, meetings, advocacy and other programs. Mathematics Calendar

The European Mathematical Society is a learned society representing mathematicians throughout Europe. It promotes the development of all aspects of mathematics in Europe, in particular mathematical research, relations of mathematics to society, relations to European institutions, and mathematical education.

The International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) is the largest conference for the topic of mathematics. It meets once every four years, hosted by the International Mathematical Union (IMU). The last congress was in 2014; the next will be in 2018.

This website provides information for and about women in mathematics. It has been created by the IMU Women in Maths Webpages Advisory Group under the oversight of the International Mathematical Union as a service to the international mathematical community.

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country. The first IMO was held in 1959 in Romania, with 7 countries participating. It has gradually expanded to over 100 countries from 5 continents. The IMO Advisory Board ensures that the competition takes place each year and that each host country observes the regulations and traditions of the IMO.

The American Statistical Association is the world’s largest community of statisticians. The ASA supports excellence in the development, application, and dissemination of statistical science through meetings, publications, membership services, education, accreditation, and advocacy. Our members serve in industry, government, and academia in more than 90 countries, advancing research and promoting sound statistical practice to inform public policy and improve human welfare.

The Mathematical Association of America is the largest professional society that focuses on mathematics accessible at the undergraduate level. Their members include university, college, and high school teachers; graduate and undergraduate students; pure and applied mathematicians; computer scientists; statisticians; and many others in academia, government, business, and industry.

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a public voice of mathematics education supporting teachers to ensure equitable mathematics learning of the highest quality for all students through vision, leadership, professional development and research.

Applied mathematics, in partnership with computational science, is essential in solving many real-world problems. Their mission is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology through their publications, research, and community.

The purposes of the Casualty Actuarial Society are:
- to advance the body of knowledge of actuarial science applied to general insurance, including property, casualty and similar risk exposures;
- to expand the application of actuarial science to enterprise risks and systemic risks;
- to establish and maintain standards of qualification for membership;
- to promote and maintain high standards of conduct and competence;
- to increase the awareness of actuarial science;
- to contribute to the well being of society as a whole.

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is an educational, research and professional organization dedicated to serving the public and Society members. The SOA's vision is for actuaries to be the leading professionals in the measurement and management of risk.

The Society for Mathematical Biology is an international society which exists to promote and foster interactions between the mathematical and biological sciences communities through membership, journal publications, travel support and conferences.

The Fields Institute is located at the University of Toronto. Their mission is to enhance mathematical activity in Canada by bringing together mathematicians from Canada and abroad, and by promoting contact and collaboration between professional mathematicians and the increasing numbers of users of mathematics.
