Many of the Calls to Actions refer to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the call to adopt its principles, norms and standards.

Website of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR), a permanent archive created to preserve the memory of Canada’s Residential School system and legacy. The NCTR collects the statements, documents, and other materials gathered by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC). Located at the University of Manitoba, NCTR officially opened in the summer of 2015.

The archived website of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), which is a component of the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. Contains links to the TRC's reports and other important resources, including primary sources. The TRC offices closed in December 2015; its work has been transferred to the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.

The Indian Residential School Survivors' Storybase is a project that seeks to bring together the multitude of Stories from Residential School Survivors available online in one searchable format. These items are created by organizations external to the University of Toronto Libraries, and this collection brings them together and places them in conversation.

The collection emphasizes audio and video recordings with the aim of connecting directly to the individual storytelling styles, personalities, emotions and experiences of Survivors. Recordings are primarily in English or Indigenous languages with English transcriptions or subtitles available.
