CPA Canada is the national organization established to support unification of the Canadian accounting professions under the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. On April 1, 2013, CICA and CMA Canada unified, forming CPA Canada. On October 1, 2014, CGA-Canada integrated its operations with CPA Canada. Completing the unification process, the profession has adopted the Canadian designation, Chartered Professional Accountant.
