CSTHA Canadian Science and Technology Historical Association
Founded in 1980, the Canadian Science and Technology Historical Association (CSTHA) is a national society devoted to the study of the history of Canadian science and technology. Our primary mission is to make our scientific and technical history better known and to make this subject an important element in Canadian historiography. We have been a member of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences since 2003. The Association’s archives are held by York University Archives.
Society for Canadian Women in Science & Technology

PSA Philosophy of Science Association

Situating Science: Science in Human Contexts
Situating Science is a seven-year project promoting communication and collaboration among humanists and social scientists that are engaged in the study of science and technology. iSTS - Institute for Science and Technology Studies
The Institute for Science and Technology Studies (iSTS) faculty research how science and technology shapes the world. Research uses the social sciences and humanities’ most advanced methods and theories to long-standing and emerging questions about technoscience. These invesitgations lead to the understanding and development of enlightened science policy with the purpose of guiding communities and nations response to constantly changing technological and scientific challenges.
