Digital Scholarship and Digital Humanities: Linked Open Data

Resources and information for students, researchers and faculty who are incorporating technology into their research, scholarship, and teaching.

Linked Open Data

Linked Open Data is a combination of two things:

  • linked data, which is a method of storing information so that the connections and relationships between items can be explored
  • open data, which signifies data that has been made freely available for distribution

Linked Open Data (LOD) is very easy for computers to understand, and the use of common formats means that datasets can easily be combined, connected, and navigated.

This resource page is under construction, but Linked Open Data resources are coming soon.
