Health Canada is the federal department responsible for helping the people of Canada maintain and improve their health.

A Canadian government site that includes a calendar of events, a directory of health organizations, online documents and links, as well as access to "Wired Health", a monthly electronic magazine.

The Consolidated Acts and Regulations site is a directory of legislation drafted for various federal departments and agencies that shows an up-to-date version of the law. This is achieved by adding subsequent amendments to an original enactment. The consolidations are generally updated on a weekly basis; the date to which a consolidation is current is given at the top of the first page of the law.

The Health Council of Canada was a national, independent, public reporting agency based in Toronto. Announced as part of the 2003 First Ministers' Accord on Health Care Renewal with a mandate to report publicly to Canadians, it provided a system-wide perspective on health care reform related to the 2003 Accord’s policy and program commitments. In 2010, the Health Council’s mandate was expanded to include the nationwide dissemination of information on best practices and innovation in health care. The Council's mandate ended in 2014, but the website is still archived online.
