CPHA's mission is to constitute a special national resource in Canada that advocates for the improvement and maintenance of personal and community health according to the public health principles of disease prevention, health promotion and protection and healthy public policy.

It draws its strength and authority from the qualities and commitment of its diverse network of members, and it has an established track record in advancing the knowledge base and improving the quality and effectiveness of health promotion and health education practice Members range from government bodies, to universities and institutes, to NGOs and individuals across all continents.

This page leads to clinical information with depth, breadth and validity for public health. It includes full text journal articles, medical news reports, and presentations from major medical conferences. The site is a collaboration with the American Public Health Association.

This non-profit organization (formerly the Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse) provides a multidisciplinary focus on health promotion and prevention activities across the province.
