The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives offers an alternative to the message that we have no choice about the policies that affect our lives. We undertake and promote research on issues of social and economic justice.

A group dedicated to preserving and enhancing Canada's public health system.

CAHSPR is a national membership-based non-profit organization which promotes Canadian health research. Its members come from a variety of backgrounds, including health economics, health services research, health policy, health care administration, epidemiology, medicine, nursing and political science. Members function at all levels of research and decision-making, ranging from federal and provincial departments of health to health care research units and regional health bodies.

The Canadian Healthcare Association (CHA) is the federation of provincial and territorial hospital and health organizations across Canada. The CHA represents a broad continuum of care, including acute care, home and community care, long term care, public health, mental health, palliative care, addiction services, children, youth and family services, housing services, and professional and licensing bodies. These services are provided through regional health authorities, hospitals and other facilities and agencies that serve all Canadians and are governed by trustees who act in the public interest.

The Canadian Institute for Health Information is an independent, pan-Canadian not-for-profit organization working to improve the health of Canadians and the health care system by providing quality health information. CIHI is mandated by Canada's health ministers to provide the accurate and timely information necessary to support sound health policies, to manage the Canadian health system effectively and to create public awareness of factors affecting good health.

Located at McMaster University, its mission is to promote a collegial and supportive interdisciplinary environment that fosters excellence in acquiring, producing and communicating socially-relevant knowledge in the fields of health economics and health policy analysis.

The Centre for Social Justice is an advocacy organization that seeks to strengthen the struggle for social justice. The programmatic content of the Centre's work may change from year to year, but there is an on-going interest in working strategically to narrow the gap between rich and poor, challenging the corporate domination of Canadian politics, and pressing for policy changes that promote economic and social justice.
