Ladino (Judeo-Spanish)

Judeo-Spanish (sometimes called Ladino) is a romance language, and is a collection of dialects descending from medieval Spanish and written in Hebrew characters. It is historically spoken by Sephardic Jews, primarily in Spain, Morocco, and the Balkans, as well as some Jewish communities in the Americas and in Israel.
