Reference List Citation

Author's last name, A. A. (Year of Publication). Title of book: Subtitle if given (edition if given and is not first edition). Publisher Name often shortened.

 

Example:

Stimson, W. A. (2012). The role of Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO 9001 in corporate management: A plan for integration of governance and operations. McFarland & Co.  

In-Text Citation: Quote (Stimson, 2012, p. 23)
In-Text Citation: Paraphrase (Stimson, 2012)

Note: A digital object identifier is a unique, persistent URL for a digital resource such as an e-Book or article.

Note: Custom textbooks have been created specifically for York University courses and may include chapters or articles from different authors. This style does not come directly from the APA style manual, but is a modified style created by York Librarians and is based on the APA style for citing a chapter within an edited book
