Type Example
Works Cited List Citation

Author or Analyst's Last name, First name or Corporate Author Name. "Title of Report or Chart."  Database Name, Date of Publication, pp. Page numbers if available.

Examples:

Daniel Research Group. "Unit shipments of mobile personal computers (PCs) and laptops in the United States, from 2013 to 2023 (in millions)." Statista. Sept. 2019. 

Statista. "Share of internet users in Canada with accounts on selected social media platforms as of April 2020, by age group." Statista. Jul. 2020.

Note 1: Statista provides charts, reports, and data from governments, trade / industry associations, and their own surveys. Always confirm who is the original author of the data.

Works Cited List Citation

Note: Maps and data tables created in SimplyAnalytics do not tend to have titles. Describe the variables in the map or data table to direct your reader to the information. You can find the data's date and author by clicking Data Button on left-side  > Select Data Point  > Click three vertical dots > Click View Metadata.

Corporate Author's Name. Description of Data Point or Map. Database Name, Date of Publication.
