Type Example
Works Cited List Citation

Author Last Name, First Name or Corporate Author Name if different from website name. "Title of Section or Page." Name of Website, Name of Publisher or Sponsoring Organization (if different from website name), Date of publication or last modified date, URL. Accessed Day Abbreviated Month Year (if needed). 

Example:

"People: Consumer Nutrition." Tyson Foods, 2020, www.tysonsustainability.com/people/consumers/consumer-nutrition. Accessed 22 Jul. 2021. 

Note: Include an 'Accessed Date' if the webpage does not have a publication date or the content will change.

In-Text Citation Example

Type Example
Works Cited List Citation

Author or compiler name (if available). "Name of the Publication." Name of the Website, Name of the Organization Affiliated with the Website (if different from name of website), Publication day Abbreviated Month Publication Year, pages if available. URL.

"Innovation with Purpose: Improving Traceability in Food Value Chains through Technology Innovations." World Economic Forum, Jan. 2019, pp.1-32. www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Traceability_in_food_value_chains_Digital.pdf

Note: The date and time that the article was last edited appears at the bottom of each Wikipedia article.

"Title of Entry." Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia, Wikimedia Foundation, Day Abbreviated Month Year entry was last modified, Time entry was last modified, URL of entry.

"Triple Bottom Line." Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia, Wikipedia Foundation, 6 Jun. 2021, 17:56, en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Triple_bottom_line&oldid=1027203412.  

In-Text Citation Example

("Triple Bottom Line")

Note: If a dictionary or encyclopedia entry has no author, the in-text citation should include the title of the entry. The title of the entry should be in quotation marks, with each word starting with a capital letter.
